It's a Nice day for a White Wedding.

Jennifer and Conrad have impeccable taste. They wanted a crisp and clean look with all whites, ivory and cream colors with just a touch of blush in some of the pieces.
The mix of garden roses and hydrangea made beautiful, full and fluffy bouquets. The bridesmaids wore black dresses, so their bouquets had a little blush added to them.
The barrel room at Jacuzzi Family Vineyard in beautiful Sonoma was the perfect romantic setting. The round dome area is where the ceremony took place among candlelight and olive trees.
Large urn centerpieces opened the way to the ceremony seating. These were later moved and used
at the reception.
The large wrought iron candelabras look like they belong in a castle. They are very majestic and were stunning when decorated with draping orchids and roses.

The boutonnieres were backed with olive branches and surrounded with green hypericum berries.

The Flower Girl carried a cute white and green kissing ball.

The chairs had white bouquets of mixed flowers with accents of ornamental grasses.

The olive trees that lined the back wall of the ceremony had white and green centerpiece in the pots.
After the ceremony these centerpieces were put around the archways in the stone courtyard.

This grand entrance leads out to the courtyard. It is such a gorgeous place for the couple to have photos taken.

Tall olive trees separated the ceremony from the dining area in the barrel room.

Different size mason jars with grasses, berries and various white flowers decorated the tables in threes. The jars were all different sizes and were surrounded with votive candles.

Peonies were out of season, so large, fluffy football mums were used.

Each napkin was adorned with an olive branch. Look how cute the olives are on this branch!
Park Ave. Catering provided these menu cards for each napkin.

Triple mason jar centerpieces gave a touch of rustic to this stylish wine country wedding.
A big Thank You to Quintana Events for planning and coordinating this beautiful wedding!

I left my Heart in...

What a gorgeous view! Guests at this wedding were treated to a view of the Port of San Francisco while enjoying dinner at the luxurious Hotel Vitale.
The Bride and her Maid of Honor carried bouquets of hydrangea. One in Shades of purple and lavender and the other in green.

The Bride wanted her Grandmother to play a prominent role in her wedding so we played around with her dress from the '30's. The button down bodice of the dress was definitely the way to go.
The silky material and the long line of buttons made the most beautiful wrap on the bouquet stems.

This was perfect for both "something old" and "something borrowed".
See how pretty it looked. What a special touch!

The ceremony was held on the deck of the Hotel Vitale with a stunning view of the Bay. Thanks to the team at Quintana Events for the creative way of displaying the pashminas that the ladies wore when the bay breeze kicked up in the evening.

The Groom and his buddies had magenta orchid boutonnieres.

The Mother's corsages matched, but had an accent of dark plum sweet peas with ivory ribbons.

The opposite view of the waterfront was just as amazing with all the tall skyscrapers surrounding.
Floating candles were also lining the center of the tables and were going to be lit at sunset.
What a magical atmosphere.

From here you can see the upper deck where the ceremony was held, and then 2 stories lower where dinner took place.

The beautiful Bride Katie!
Katie sent a lovely note after her wedding:
Hi Lisa,
I just wanted to thank you again for the gorgeous, gorgeous flowers! I was sorry I didn't get to chat with you more when you arrived, it was crunch time and a lot going on at once! The purple color in the hydrangea was exactly the shade I was hoping for. Both my sister's bouquet and mine had such a contrast against our dresses, they were great! And the addition of my grandmothers gown was very special to me, thank you for making it work. Everyone commented how beautiful everything was and how awesome the table looked! It all was perfect! Thank you again.

It was my pleasure. Best Wishes to the happy couple!

Some HOT, hot pink Love in Sonoma!

Kristi was a bride that I met through email 10 days before her wedding. Yes, 10 days! She was planning from Oregon. She knew her favorite flowers and was set on the colors of magenta and green. I quickly got a proposal together and we discussed budget. She had reached out to other florists in the surrounding Sonoma area for ideas and prices. I was happy to know I was somewhere in the middle price-wise of these other florists, but she wanted me. That made me super happy since I do look up to a lot of these other well known florists in Sonoma.

The wedding was going to be at EDK in Sonoma (El Dorado Hotel and Kitchen). It is right in the heart of Sonoma on the famous square. Loved the quaint interior with the wall of logs and the cute displays of milk glass. Everyone was beyond friendly, especially Angie the wedding coordinator.

The guys boutonnieres were cute little bundles of ranunculas and berries.

Love the centerpieces in their bright, vibrant colors. Check out the great ornamental kale that looks like a green rose in the center.

Close up of ranunculas, anemonies, hypericum berries, kale, hydrangea, waxflower. Can't wait to post the professional shots of this pretty wedding when they come in.

Brazilian Room Bridal Show - Berkeley

The Beautiful Brazilian Room, nestled deep in the Berkeley Hills of Tilden Park had it's annual Bridal Show. There is an extensive list of preferred vendors of which Floralisa is a part of.

Purple and green are very popular wedding colors this year again. I did many weddings last year with this color scheme and it is one of my favorites. It photographs beautifully and always looks so fresh and clean. There are so many types of flowers in these two colors that the combinations are endless.

I was referring to this one as the "Oscar" bouquet. It has a beautiful metallic look to the orchids and is very regal.

All my springtime brides LOVE blooming branches. There is such a short time to get them , that it is a luxury to have them in your centerpieces. Usually the rain or in some cases really hot days make the blossoms bloom out too fast. They like nice, cool spring days to last to their full potential.

Fell in LOVE with this bouquet. It just screams B-R-I-D-E! The Phalaenopsis orchids are show stoppers.

Close up of the pearl beading detail wrapped around the flowers.

Matching boutonniere with the detail beading showing below.

Pretty little silver vase with carnations and anemonies.

Cute Kumquat centerpiece. It is fun to add real fruits and veggies to centerpieces.

Low centerpiece with gerbera daisy, roses and ornamental kale.

A few shots from the show!
