Beautiful blue bling wedding.

Love the colors in this bouquet! The blue orchids really set it off nicely.

The bride liked "bling" and wanted it incorporated into the centers of the stephanotis flowers.
A sparkly blinged out buckle added to the wrap completed the look.

The bridesmaids carried fluffy bouquets of blue hydrangea with accents of orchids and sparkly rhinestones. The stems were wrapped in purple polka dot ribbon. Too cute!

The groom had a fragrant boutonniere with 2 blue orchids and lavender flower. The fiddle fern added some whimsy.

Various boutonnieres for the bridal party and family members. Love the clusters of lavender. Smelled refreshing!

The couple were married at a private residence in Sebastopol on a gorgeoous spring day. The atmosphere was stunning with tall pine trees that had paper lanterns hung on the branches and a barn on the property.
The ceremony was held under a trellis in the gardens...very romantic! Congratulations to the happy couple.

Brazilian Room Bridal Show - Berkeley

The Beautiful Brazilian Room, nestled deep in the Berkeley Hills of Tilden Park had it's annual Bridal Show. There is an extensive list of preferred vendors of which Floralisa is a part of.

Purple and green are very popular wedding colors this year again. I did many weddings last year with this color scheme and it is one of my favorites. It photographs beautifully and always looks so fresh and clean. There are so many types of flowers in these two colors that the combinations are endless.

I was referring to this one as the "Oscar" bouquet. It has a beautiful metallic look to the orchids and is very regal.

All my springtime brides LOVE blooming branches. There is such a short time to get them , that it is a luxury to have them in your centerpieces. Usually the rain or in some cases really hot days make the blossoms bloom out too fast. They like nice, cool spring days to last to their full potential.

Fell in LOVE with this bouquet. It just screams B-R-I-D-E! The Phalaenopsis orchids are show stoppers.

Close up of the pearl beading detail wrapped around the flowers.

Matching boutonniere with the detail beading showing below.

Pretty little silver vase with carnations and anemonies.

Cute Kumquat centerpiece. It is fun to add real fruits and veggies to centerpieces.

Low centerpiece with gerbera daisy, roses and ornamental kale.

A few shots from the show!

Passionate for Pink

The bride and I first crossed paths about 3 years ago when I did the flowers for her cousin's Quinceanera. Although I had not personally met her, she kept my name tucked away and called me when she was getting married. How's that for a good impression!

I love the "Old Hollywood" look of these shots and the way the checkered floor plays off the white gown and black tux.

Patty knew what she wanted from the word go. Soft pinks with a touch of "sparkle".

After all, a girl can never have too much sparkle!

Here is a close up of the bride with bling in the center of her pink roses and the girls had bling in the center of their white stephanotis flowers.

Romantic walk as husband and wife.

Nice family shot with the flower girl holding a cute "kissing ball" made from hot pink carnations.

Now there's the real deal sparkly stuff!

Love how the pink and hot pink pop off the black dresses.

Everyone got into it when it came to the rhinestones. The groom had them shooting out of his calla lily boutonniere and the mom's had rhinestone wrist corsages to add a lil' glamour.

The church had an open modern feel to it. It was beautiful.

What a supportive and happy family surrounding the beautiful couple.

Congratulations P & J!

Wedding Show in the Wine Country

What a great time this past Sunday at the Dream Day Bridal Show. I met with fabulous couples and their entourages, and networked with some of the best wedding/event vendors in Nor Cal.

Here are some shots of the bouquets and centerpieces at my booth.

This tall centerpiece stood over 3 ft.

Two of the favorites were the candelabra with crystals

and the 42" tall centerpiece with the peacock feathers.

Everyone loves a little bling!

Below are more detailed shots of the pieces.

This majestic color palette of purples, magentas and plums is a popular wedding color scheme year after year.

This tall cylinder vase held a large, fluffy ball of yumminess! The soft pinks and corals popped next to the crisp white hydrangea.

The vintage look is so romantic and still wildly popular.

The colors in this peacock arrangement were just stunning! Orchids always make a statement.

Black and white weddings are classy and elegant. Even the groom gets in on the act rocken the bling in his boutonniere.

This sparkly stem wrap is an eye catcher and completes the look.

Candelabras always add elegance to a table.

Thank you to all the couples, bridal parties and Mothers of the Brides/Grooms that stopped by to take a look and say hi!
