Outdoor Sacramento Wedding

The bride chose a light and fresh color palette of green and ivory for her outdoor wedding under a big, beautiful willow tree.
The cute couple sharing a moment on the porch swing before the big party!

Love this shot!

The tables were decorated with different size mason jars with green orchids and white tulips, topped with floating candles.
Various size mason jars were placed around the place card table.

Pretty arch that decorated the ceremony site next to the river. It was a surprise for the bride to take home and decorate their garden.

Close up of the pretty green carnations and roses. Carnations have come a long way. The colors are endless, they smell wonderful and they last well in heat or out of water.

Sheppard hooks held silver pails with berries, roses and tulips. These lined the rose petal aisle way.
*Best memory from this wedding: Eating cheeseburgers from the "Squeeze In" before the ceremony with the groom and D.J.Sonny.
So appreciative of this wonderful review from the couple on yelp.

As you can see from all of the other Yelp reviewers...Lisa is amazing. With short notice and an extremely tight budget Lisa worked wonders for our wedding!

I can't say it any better than those who've already posted. Lisa is creative with look & feel as well as with budget...she gets to know you and what you're working with and she makes the magic happen. She's dependable, proactive, honest, and just an overall pleasure to work with...I didn't even meet her until the day of my wedding, everything was done through email - that's how much we trusted her and that's how helpful and understanding she was of our time as well.

I never had the wedding "dreams", never had a desire to plan one and really had no idea what I was doing planning a wedding in three months! I didn't think I'd have one flower there to be honest. At the end of the day, I was so happy we came across Lisa, so happy with the choices we made together, and so happy with outcome. What a difference it makes in the ambiance...and we didn't even have to go broke or go crazy to get it!

Some HOT, hot pink Love in Sonoma!

Kristi was a bride that I met through email 10 days before her wedding. Yes, 10 days! She was planning from Oregon. She knew her favorite flowers and was set on the colors of magenta and green. I quickly got a proposal together and we discussed budget. She had reached out to other florists in the surrounding Sonoma area for ideas and prices. I was happy to know I was somewhere in the middle price-wise of these other florists, but she wanted me. That made me super happy since I do look up to a lot of these other well known florists in Sonoma.

The wedding was going to be at EDK in Sonoma (El Dorado Hotel and Kitchen). It is right in the heart of Sonoma on the famous square. Loved the quaint interior with the wall of logs and the cute displays of milk glass. Everyone was beyond friendly, especially Angie the wedding coordinator.

The guys boutonnieres were cute little bundles of ranunculas and berries.

Love the centerpieces in their bright, vibrant colors. Check out the great ornamental kale that looks like a green rose in the center.

Close up of ranunculas, anemonies, hypericum berries, kale, hydrangea, waxflower. Can't wait to post the professional shots of this pretty wedding when they come in.

Happy Wife = Happy Life!

I just love this shot! The bride looks so happy she is glowing.

Christina was a bride that definitely knew what she wanted. She had done extensive research on flowers and had it down to the number of stems in each bouquet.

An important detail to her bouquet was the use of her mother's rosary on the handle.

Elegance graced every aspect of the day.

The groom donned a pink rose boutonniere, while the groomsmen sported green roses.

Quaint church in the heart of the wine country.

Ready to walk down the aisle.

Another great shot captured by the talented
Larissa Cleveland.

The bridesmaids carried a pretty mix of lisianthus, button mums and berries.

The bride carried garden roses, Ecuadorian roses, hydrangea and berries.

Half the tables had a sweet garden mix of flowers and the others had fluffy balls of hydrangea.

The head table centerpiece draped in front of the newlyweds.

The cake was baked by the bride's friend Alison Mitchell.

Cute entry table with a touch of whimsy.

I had to include these romantic images captured by Larissa Cleveland, for you to enjoy.

Congratulations Billy and Christina!

And thanks Larissa for letting me share your beautiful images.

I Heart Weddings!

When working on weddings, symbols of love can be found everywhere.

This gorgeous bridal bouquet has show stopping peonies, roses and freesia. The Stems were wrapped in a beautiful bridal handkerchief.

Texture was added in with rabbits foot, monkey tail and hypericum berries.

The Bridesmaid's bouquets added in a touch of dark purple to play off the chocolate brown accents. Each girl had a necklace with their initial attached to the wrapped handle. A cute gift from the bride.

The boutonnieres and corsages had plenty of interest and texture.

Rustic bottles and jars were used throughout the venue and added to the charm.

Fans and a card cage greeted the guests as they entered the ceremony area at Cornerstone Gardens in Sonoma.

Roses and ornamental grasses graced the sides of the chairs.

Large urns were filled with free flowing, organic arrangements. These were later moved into the barn to decorate the lounge area.

Various mason jars, big and small were clustered together on the guest tables. No two were alike.

Each table had a short, medium and tall jar.

The completed look with the table numbers.
