DIY: Fingerprint Tree

When we needed a class project for our upcoming fundraising auction, I knew the perfect craft project to get the kids involved with. I have seen these Fingerprint Trees at numerous weddings. They are used in place of the traditional guest books and leave the couple with a pretty piece of artwork to display.

Here are a few set ups that I have seen at weddings.

Cute ink pads that fit a finger or thumb only.

Don't forget to have some wet wipes handy for your guests to clean their fingers.

This project started with a free download I found on Style Unveiled.
Open the tree in an editing program to add text like names and dates.

Break out the ink pads and have fun!
This project was easy and fun for the children to do. They all took special care in making it look neat.

The finished piece can be framed and makes a sentimental piece of art.
These are great for not only weddings, but family reunions, special birthdays, class projects
and the list goes on and on.
